ADV Motorcycle Classes

2025 FALL & 2026 SPRING

ADV Training Classes: TUCSON

The Most Effective Use of Your Money In This Sport, Is Training.

Which class should I choose?

The difference between Level I and Level II is the complexity of the exercises we run, and how much time we spend on each exercise. The tour route on Day 2 is also modified for difficulty between the two. If you have been riding off-road on larger ADV style motorcycles and are comfortable in most scenarios; we'd recommend choosing a level II class. If you are new to off-road riding, have a new ADV style bike or are getting back into riding after taking some time off, we'd recommend starting with Level I.

Level I Cost: $600  |  Level II Cost $700

  • Do I need prior off-road experience?

You need to have a valid license and motorcycle endorsment. And you need to know how to ride a motorcycle. Our classes are designed for beginner ADV riders to learn all the basic skills for riding off-road confidently. This is not a 'learn to ride a motorcycle for the first time' class.

  • What safety gear is required, and do you provide guidance on what to buy?

Helmet, gloves, boots and full covering pants and shirts are required for the class. We love to share our recommendations for the right gear! Just reach out and ask when signing up for your class. Hopefully we can save you some money by getting it right the first time!

  • How long is the class, and what does a typical training day look like?

Day one is all about the skills practice and introducing proper technique. We schedule from 8am to 3pm for this session, though modifications are made based on several factors. Class size, speed of aptitude, energy levels, etc all affect class speed.

Day two is scheduled 8am to 2pm and again, maodifications occur based on skill levels, energy and aptitude.

  • Do I bring my own motorcycle, or do you offer rental bikes?

These classes are designed for you to learn on your own motorcycle.

  • How do you make sure students leave feeling more confident instead of more intimidated?

The curriculum we designed is for building confidence with small steps that build on eachother.  All of our instructors are MSF certified (though we use our own developed curriculum) and have years of experience in adult-learning.  This is not a motorcycle boot camp - we teach at your pace in a friendly, positive environment.

Still have a question?

"I just spent two days in Southern Arizona at their adventure bike class. I had a great time and learned lots. Keith does a great job explaining things and spotting what you are doing right and wrong. I feel much more confident on my bike in all kinds of terrain including sand. I got back into riding about 4 years ago. I wish I had taken this class back then. We rode lots of different trails and some sand washes. I still don't enjoy deep sand but I can get through it now. This class Is a bargain and well worth the money."
