Dorks in the Desert Tour
If you’ve ever watched Dork in the Road rip across some epic landscape and thought, “Man… I wish I could tag along with that bearded beacon of positivity,” congratulations — this is your moment!
April 2026, when Arizona’s weather is just about perfect, you can saddle up your adventure bike (or rent one of ours) and join a 5-day ride along the Arizona BDR, camping under desert stars and enjoying some of the most iconic terrain in the Southwest.
This isn’t just another ADV tour — this is your chance to ride with your Internet Riding Buddy, and this time… he doesn’t come with a mute button.
Over five days, you and a small group of up to ten riders will tackle the Arizona BDR — the kind of riding that keeps things spicy without sending you home with a cast and a story that starts with, “Well, the doctor said…” With a support vehicle hauling your gear (and your dignity, if needed), you’ll enjoy the freedom of riding light while still having everything you need at camp each night. You bring your camping gear, we bring the logistics, and Arizona brings the views.
But let’s be honest… the real draw here isn’t just the riding. It’s hanging out with Dork in the Road for five straight days. You’ll ride with him, camp with him, eat with him, listen to his stories, maybe witness a legendary tip-over, and who knows — if you’ve got enough throttle control and charisma, you might even earn a cameo in his official AZBDR YouTube video, where your glory (or your crash) will live on forever in algorithm-powered immortality.
Here are the important details:
We're meeting up in Sierra Vista Arizona at 5pm on April 12th. Dinner location will be in your email.
If you're riding your own bike, just meet us there.
If flying in and renting a bike, you'll want to fly into Tucson, AZ (TUS) before 2pm on the 12th. From there, we'll pick you up and bring you to your rental bike to get packed up. Our bikes do have Mosko Moto bags attached for the gear your bringing.
Gear: You are expected to have the proper gear for a multi-day tour in the backcountry. Helmet, gloves, moto-boots, armored pants and jackets are required. We'll be sending out recommendations if you would like them.
This is a camping tour so you will need camping gear; sleeping bag, tent, pad, cook wear, etc. We don't rent camping gear but will aid you in getting to a store if you're flying in and don't want to haul it all. We recommend watching Dork in the Road's recommendations for moto-camping gear he took on the Idaho BDR here... great advice from an expert after riding several BDRs.
Meal plan: Dinner at the Meet and Greet Sunday night is provided. Meals the rest of the week are not provided. Our usual plan is have a quick breakfast at camp (for the breakfast eaters), we grab snacks & food along our route, and dinner at camp is either a camp meal (our team's favorite is Peak Refuel) or something we grabbed before heading to the site. Depending on locations, we may find a favorite local restaurant along the way.
We expect good weather, good dudes, good stories, and the one and only Dork in the Road leading the charge. There are just 10 spots available — claim yours before somebody else snags the glory that could’ve been yours!
UPDATE: There are 2 spots left.
